Monica Bellucci is the new face for Dolce & Gabbana‘s makeup

Yes, makeup models tend to look sexy and stunning with those closeups of their seemingly flawless complexion and the aura of a goddess. Italian actress and model Monica Bellucci appeared in Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer 2012 campaign but now has been officially made a face of Dolce & Gabbana Make Up! Actresses Felicity Jones and Scarlett Johansson are two others alongside her as well.

Here’s what Dolce & Gabbana had to say about Bellucci: “We love Monica and have worked with her many times over the past 20 years. Her beauty is timeless,” Domenico Dolce said. “She expresses the Dolce & Gabbana woman perfectly,” Stefano Gabbana added. “She is ravishing – a true Italian icon.”

In celebration, Bellucci will launch the Monica Lipstick Collection! It will be her own limited-edition range for the brand. She says, “I’m delighted to be collaborating with Domenico and Stefano on Dolce & Gabbana The Make Up. I have always adored the aesthetic of Dolce & Gabbana and it’s so exciting to be involved with their creative process.”
