Bite Luminous Crème Lipstick. That one little phrase makes me think of creamy lipstick that someone has taken a bite out of. Of course, that is not actually the case, the B in Bite has a little bite bitten out of it though if you look closely at the picture. Wanting to try a bit of a dusty rose on my lips, I chose to try out Pepper.
Here’s the description on Sephora:
This lip color delivers super antioxidant resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent long-term antiaging benefits. Each lipstick contains the amount of resveratrol found in five glasses of red wine.
Here’s a swatch of Pepper on my hand:
Pepper is described as a dusty rose, but as you can see from the swatch on my hand, it is quite a sheer colour. When applied to the lips, it turns into what you can call a mlbb colour (my lips but better). In fact, it is practically the same colour as my upper lips!
This lipstick does have a scent, I can’t describe what is it is full-a bit of wax, I guess?, but I’m not the biggest fan of the smell. It’s a good thing you can’t smell it once it’s applied though! This lipstick is extremely creamy and you can easily apply it on and take it off. I found that this lasted for around 2.5 hours, which is quite nice for a lipstick. My lips didn’t feel too dry either.
Overall, I like the lipstick, it’s a pretty colour that gives me just that little bit of shine and glossiness without looking like I actually put lipstick on. I do wish that it were a bit longer lasting and wasn’t so sheer. The waxy scent is also a bit off-putting.
If you wish to purchase Bite Luminous Creme Lipstick in Pepper, it comes in a set of five here for $25.
