New York Fashion Week for Spring 2012 presented some rather striking styles, one of which was rose gold highlights placed strategically in models’ hair. The highlights were drastic in contrast to the flowing, wavy hair that it was put on. Of course, a celebrity loved this look and came out with it on the first day of Spring, Mad Men actress, January Jones.

Her colorist Jennifer J., a Wella Professionals celebrity colorist and co-founder of Juan Juan Salons, stated, “We’ve been doing the same color for about 8 years so I thought it would be fun to try. I brought a bunch of different colors to her house and the color was custom blended there. When it looked perfect, we went for it and the outcome was amazing on her already pastel blonde hair.”

This super cute look may not be easy to achieve for the brunettes out there, but if you like this look, you might want to try and fake them! Spring is sure to present a lot more of these interesting looks.
