When I hear tangerine, the first thing that I think of is bright orange. Some say that orange lipstick is only for Halloween, but celebrities are rocking it year round. With shades in a vibrant orange, a red-orange, to almost a pale peach, there is a shade that works for your skin tone. And, no matter what the occasion, these celebs - and you - can make orange lips rock.

1. Liv Tyler
Tyler and her deep-tangerine glossed lips were spotted back in 2010. With her black outfit and dark brown hair, the bright, orange lip color is the first thing you see.

2. Scarlett Johansson
Johansson can be seen wearing a bright red-orange lipstick that is almost a perfect match to her dress. Even though this is not the orange you may have first thought of, it is a shade that follows this trend.

3. Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore, a classic beauty, looks amazing with this peach-orange lipstick. Her subtle eye make-up and nude colored dress allow her lip color to become the focal-point of her look.

4. Kirsten Dunst
Even though she has very pale skin, Dunst can still rock an orange lipstick. A nice red tone like the one she has on won’t over power your skin tone and may even bring out your blue eyes.

5. Olivia Wilde
Another subtle look with a bright pop of color. Wilde brings all the attention to her lips with this amazing orange lipstick. Not quite red, but not straight orange, this even toned look is both red carpet and girls day ready.

6. Rachel McAdams
Now, If I was going to go orange, I would follow in Rachel McAdam’s footsteps. This light, almost peach, shade of orange allows most of the focus to be on her eyes while still adding a nice touch of color. Paired with an olive top, she is gorgeous from head-to-toe.

7. Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum’s choice in lip color was spot on. The pinkish orange shade looks fabulous with her skin tone and pulls her entire look together.

8. Vanessa Hudgens
Though not the most flattering photo of Hudgens, that shade of lipstick looks fantastic on her. With subtle eye make-up, that pop of color definitely makes a statement - and so does the blue nail polish she has on.

9. Salma Hayek
Hayek has been seen in several trending looks, and she looks amazing once again. With her burnt-orange lip color, she is definitely red carpet ready in this picture.

10. Marley Shelton
The pure orange lips you have been expecting. Shelton brought life to her toned down look in 2007 by adding color with her make-up. This bright orange may not be the best shade for her complexion, but she still makes it work with her beautiful blue eyes. With this look going back to 2007, I can see the trend lasting a little while longer.

You probably won’t catch me wearing orange lipstick any time soon, but… you never know.
If you are thinking about trying this look out, whatever your budget, you can find a shade perfect for you. Sephora, MAC, Maybelline, Etude House, Lancome, and NYX carry some shades similar to those the celebrities are wearing. While some are fairly cheap, and others are more expensive, most can be found between $5 and $20 depending on the brand.

So, will you be rocking orange lips this year?
