As of recently, I’ve found myself to be much more on the go and when I am, I like to be a light packer. A friend of mine gifted me this cute little Too Faced Glamour To Go Dream Edition Palette and I thought it’d be the perfect travel essential.
TooFaced says, “Our beautifully redesigned purse-friendly collection offers everything you need for the lips, eyes and face. Eight high-pigment, trend-setting shadows coordinate perfectly with the versatile lip gloss and universal blush & bronzer. Convenient mirror makes it simple to create a complete look or tuck away for easy touch ups.”
This little palette comes with 8 eyeshadows, 7 shimmer and 1 matte. It also has a little slide out drawer on the bottom that comes with a blush, bronzer, and a lipgloss. The layout and design of the container gives it a slightly vintage jewelry box vibe which is totally cute!
Above are all of the swatches without any sort of base and as you can see, everything is wonderfully pigmented. I’d have to say that my favorite eyeshadows in this little palette are the duochrome purple/blue, and the peach shade at the top right. Due to the grey and black being so wonderfully pigmented, it can act as an eyeliner just fine. With a primer all of these products last on my face a good 8-9 hours before I begin to see some fading or migrating of the colors.
Overall if you’re an on-the-go type of gal and don’t like to carry around your whole makeup artillery with you, I would suggest you give these Glamour To Go palettes a try. The Dream Edition is unfortunately discontinued as of now, but they are often releasing new editions and of course the original which is always available.
If you’d like to get one of your own, you can find them here for $22
