The summer spells out a lot of beauty implications. The weather is hotter, humidity is through the roof and summer vacation locales can make dark makeup shades inappropriate. And if you’re like me, you’re probably lazier. Luckily, these beauty essentials will help you survive the summer:

6. Argan Oil-based Hair Products
Dry weather can seriously distress your hair, leaving it looking frizzy and fried. What’s great about argan oil is that it’ll help moisturize, protect and give shine to your hair 365 days a year. I’ve got long hair with choppy layers which are prone to dryness and GKhair’s Taming Serum with Juvexin is a god-send for me. I love that you can apply it to hair while it’s damp or dry!

5. Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream
Foundation can feel really heavy on warm days. Luckily, tinted moisturizers and BB creams are lighter but provide the right amount of coverage while concealing skin flaws. It’s also a lot easier and quicker to apply! Depending on the weather, I typically reach for NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer when it’s really hot and Missha’s M Perfect Cover BB Cream.

4. Facial Mists
If you must do foundation, facial mists are great for providing moisture, alleviating the heavyness or for providing temporary relief from the hot weather. Regardless of your skin type, there’s a facial mist formulated for your specific concerns. As a person with oily skin, my quick go-to is Tony Moly’s Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist or Tony Moly’s Luminous Goddess Aura Make-Up Mist. The Tony Moly mist works just as well on dry skin. Another great option for dry skin is the Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist.

3. Bronzer
Bronzer is great for giving your skin a healthy glow or a quick tan. As a fan of glowing skin, I tend to apply bronzer no matter what season it is. If you happen to be stuck in doors all the time during the summer or you just don’t tan well, bronzer is a great solution. Some of my personal favorites include Benefit’s Hoolah Powder for a daytime glow, NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder for more shine.

2. Lip Tints and Stains
Just like foundation and moisturizer can feel heavy on your skin, so can lip glosses and lipsticks. Lip tints and stains are a great, lighter alternative without sacrificing color. Our favorites include Josie Maran’s Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain, Stila’s Lip & Cheek Stain, NYC Smooch Proof LipStain 16H. Another plus? Some lip tints and stains also double as cheek stains!

1. SPF Protection
Skin cancer is no joke! It’s important that you’ve got on some sort of SPF protection everyday. Sunblock or sun cream isn’t all that necessary if you’ve got foundation or moisturizer with SPF protection. Just double check your products to see if you’re covered!

The facial mists seem like a must for the summer wink

that facial mist I would love to get! it’s so cute and did sound good :D
at summer I don’t like to use that much makeup that I usually do (which isn’t that much either xD) but when I have to like to keep it simple and light smile

I need to get some facial mist~ The list is great.

I will keep this list in my mind for the summer:D

Great list!! =)
And I def need to add mists, lip stains and tinted moisturizers - can’t stand to wear heavy makeup no matter what the season is.

These all look really useful! Nice for getting through the heat.

I should get something, shouldn’t I?
