Review: Tony Moly Floria All-In-One Cleansing Oil Tissue

If it weren’t for the cleansing wipe, I don’t know how else I would’ve cleaned my face on many a late, drunken night in my younger years. Most beauty brands have their own form of cleansing wipe and Tony Moly’s Floria All-In-One Cleansing Oil Tissue is Tony Moly’s version. I’ve recently had my sober self test it out!

Packaging

The Floria All-In-One Cleansing Oil Tissue comes in a plastic packet of 30 sheets. 30 is a good amount because you don’t want to rely on cleansing wipes alone — they’re only meant for those tired and lazy times. Rather than an adhesive flap to grab tissues from, the packet features a plastic lid that opens to reveal a tab that you pull back pull out tissues. It looks like this:

I really enjoy the plastic lid because I feel like an adhesive flap exposes the tissues to too much. I’m not quite sure if it really does anything to preserve the integrity of the tissues, but it gives me that feeling that it’s protecting it.

It’s big enough to remove dirt and makeup with wide strokes, quickly.

Scent

For those sensitive to scented beauty products, this sadly is not for you. The cleansing oil tissues possess a light floral scent that’s characteristic of the Tony Moly’s Floria line.

Performance

To test out the cleansing oil tissues, I swatched my arm with a POPBeauty’s Ink Outliner, Benefit’s they’re real mascara, e.l.f. foundation, Missha BB Cream and a random swatch of Hera eyeshadow:

Then I swiped half the swatches on my arm with one swipe of the cleansing oil tissue and this is what happened:

In that one swipe, the foundation, BB cream and eyeshadow were wiped clean off. The mascara and eyeliner however, left a bit of residue in the direction that I was swiping. While the tissue didn’t get the mascara and the eyeliner completely, I have to say that it’s better than other cleansing wipes I’ve used. With other wipes like Ponds cleansing towelettes, I feel like I have to really tug at my eye to remove makeup. With the cleansing oil tissues, it’s possible to remove mascara and eyeshadow with the wipes with just a few more gentle rubs.

After using the tissues, my skin feels refreshed and clean! Two thumbs up for anyone who tends to get lazy with washing their face.
