Holika Holika’s latest offering is a product called Miracle Real Skin Finish, a multi-purpose cream that’s designed to correct skin tone, whiten & brighten, moisturize and provide SPF protection. In short, I like to think of this as a super light BB cream or a luminizing moisturizer. The only difference is that it’s colorless.
Packaging
The Miracle Real Skin Finish cream, comes in a jar that’s either pink (Normal/Dry Skin) or purple (Combination/Oily Skin) holding about 50g of product. Seeing as I have super oily skin, I went with the purple jar. The jar itself has a lumincescent sheen to it with a butterfly molded into the jar lid. The box is also super cute and features pop-out butterflies. With no use for a pretty box, I tossed it but not without taking photos! Behold:
English instructions on the box:
Using the cream is easy peasy. To a clean face, apply whatever amount suits you. Just note applying more builds on the brightness or luminosity.
Color/Texture
Pearly white. The texture of the cream is light-weight and…creamy. Perfect for hot summer days. On your skin, it casts a subtle luminous sheen:
With just Miracle Real Skin Finish on:
Looking at the photos above, the Holika Holika Miracle Real Skin Finish cream fared well in correcting uneven skin tones. I have a bit of redness and shadows that are no longer present in the ‘after’ photo. I suspect that when used as a base under concealer and foundation, the cream would do well in helping conceal flaws. Additionally, I love the bright sheen that it casts on my face. It makes me look like I put an effort in putting my face together when all I did was put the cream on. Lazy people, those who aren’t allowed to wear BB cream or foundation — this one’s for you. Even better, it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything on your face at all!
My only complaint about this product is that I don’t think it did much for me in controlling oil, even if I used the type for Combination/Oily skin. After 3 or 4 hours of wear, I found myself reaching for some powder. If you’re one to reach for the Normal/Dry skin jar, you’re in for a treat!
Despite my issue with it, I still give this product two thumbs up. Two thumbs really high up if you’ve got normal/dry skin.

Very cute packaging! I just wish it was better for controlling oily skin. I have combination skin, so if it had better oil control, then I would be totally up for it! But I still would like to try it..
