Review: TONY MOLY Party Lover Triple Dome Eyeshadow in 11 Blue Motion

Being an avid fan of T-ara, I happen to also like TONY MOLY products, not because the girl group endorses it, but the fact that they produce quite a lot of quality products for a relatively affordable price. Such is the case with TONY MOLY’s Party Lover Triple Dome Eyeshadow in 11 Blue Motion.

After searching a bit online, I found that you were supposed to generally use the largest shade as your all over base colour (aka the white) the middle shade for the crease and the darkest one as a liner. However, seeing how the white and the green were pretty much invisible once you tried putting them on with a brush, I decided to mix it up a little and use the white as a highlighter (which is really pretty as a sole highlighter), the green as an all over shade and the blue with its original purpose.

The eyeshadow doesn’t crease-which is definitely a good thing for me, but I wish the lighter colours were just a tad bit more pigmented–the blue is really dark in comparison to the other two once you put it on. I would suggest buying a triple dome eyeshadow that has darker colours if you were interested in buying this product. You’ll also have to watch out for fallouts when using this.

I wouldn’t say that this lasts the whole day, but it lasts for around 4 hours before the colour starts to fade (it doesn’t help that two of the colours are so light). However, if you’re looking for a really easy-to-remove eyeshadow–this one is for you! It comes off really easily when you need to remove it.

Overall, I’d say that this eyeshadow has a nice formula for the darker shades, very pigmented and pretty long-lasting. The lighter shades are more useful for just mere highlighters and aren’t really suited for their original ‘all over the lid’ purposes. Nonetheless, this eyeshadow trio has a lot of different variations and would be quite useful for those more natural, bare looks since it looks like you barely have any eyeshadow on.
