Continuing our adoration of It’s Skin’s Babyface makeup line, is the It’s Skin Babyface Makeup Fixer Spray. Blah blah it’s got a baby face on it blah blah omg so cute, blah blah little wings….of course I had to try this out!
The Claims
According to It’s Skin, the Babyface Makeup Fixer Spray is designed to, ” get rid of that heavy makeup feeling, keeping your face smooth and comfortable all day long.” It also, “fixes any oilness and boosts your makeup’s staying power.” In addition, it includes mandarin, HCT and botanical extracts like chamomile to freshen up and bring moisture to dull, dry skin.
Packaging
You get about 50 ml of product in the standard It’s Skin Babyface packaging (cute baby face printed on it) for an aerosol bottle that’s about 3-4 inches tall. Sadly, the wings featured above is just part of the plastic wrap that you tear off prior to use. Being an aersol spray, it’s super light. Here it is without its wings:
Peach — fades after application.
Usage
Hold the bottle 7-8 inches away from your face and mist. Don’t drench, mist. Super easy. Best for use after makeup application, obviously. Or, when you’re just feeling too oily.
Color/Texture
None.
Performance
When wearing a full face of makeup on a hot, humid summer day, this Makeup Fixer Spray is a god-send. Instantly it takes away that heavy makeup feeling and gives you a fresh face. It minimizes oil and keeps your skin moist. The only downside is that for me, I found myself wanting to spray my face every 4 hours. There are other makeup sprays that will keep your makeup on for much longer, up to 12+ hours like Model In A Bottle. With that said, I feel like its moisturizing capability is more of its strong suit and great for those with normal or dry skin. Oily skinned-gals, I’d recommend either a Skindinavia spray or Model In A Bottle.
You can pick this up at KpopHeaven for $13 USD. Not bad!
