If you’ve seen photos of me these last few days, you might’ve noticed something different about me. If you haven’t, well, fine. Whatever. I dyed my hair a third time with Etude House’s Hot Style Bubble Dye in Natural Brown. (Pick it up here.)Third time’s a charm right?
This time around, I followed less-vague instructions and did it the ‘correct’ way. The third time resulted in brighter color that’s more true to the box, but still left me with the same dilemma of uneven color.
Again, not unless you’re standing super close to me or if I told you, would you notice that the hair on the top of my head and closest to my hairline is the lightest. Sadly, the third attempt did not remedy the state of an uneven dye job. After much online research, it’s clear that I’d have to go to a salon to fix this or just dye my hair black and start all over again.
At this point, I’m not quite sure what I should do. I like this color and I can afford a salon trip but I really liked the idea of doing it myself to save money. At the same time, going back to black seems too much of a hassle.
What do you think, Internet?
