Blackheads, something that everyone hates, and is one of the hardest thing to get rid of! Blackheads usually occur on your nose, and sometimes are the first stage of acne. Luckily, the skincare world has a ton of different type of products for us to try our best with the never-ending battle with blackheads. Here’s one of them: Etude House’s Black Head Remover Dual Sheet.
Endorsed by SHINee and 2NE1’s Dara, the Etude House Black Head Remover Dual Sheet is a skin care system consisting of a two-stage blackhead removal enriched with fruit and herbal extracts.
The first stage or the ‘Blackhead Remover Sheet’ steeps skin with alpha hydroxy acid for a mild exfoliating effect, drawing out deep seated grime and excess oil ready to be wiped off.
The second stage or the ‘Tightening Gel Sheet’ then soothes pores with fresh herbs, to drastically minimize pore size.
One set includes 5 dual sheets and allows for 5 applications.
The fabulous instructions written in English:
The instructions in English tell you to remove a sheet of paper lining the back of the mask. Note: there is no sheet and if you get some soaked mask like I do in step 1, don’t panic, it’s normal. You get pretty dumbfounded at first until you search the internet and find out that everyone else got the same results. Guess we need some updates on the instructions part of the back of the mask!
The smell of mask one is pretty pleasant and I would say goes along with how most Etude House products smell. You leave it on your nose for 15 minutes, then get a cotton pad or swab and while moving down, remove the remaining lotion left on your nose area.
What the sheet looks like:
This time round, the instructions were right! As you can see there actually is something for me to remove this time around! This one is a gel mask so it definitely feels a lot different compared to Step 1 and is supposed to tighten back your pores so that dirt doesn’t get into your open pores after you have removed your blackheads.
This mask does smell like herbal–a strong herbal that is, so if you don’t like herbal on top of your nose for 15 minutes, tough luck I guess! Once you’re done, peel and look at your results!
Yes, the picture is quite blurry, but I did notice that some of my blackheads were gone! Yay! Unlike nose strips, I couldn’t really tell by looking at the mask itself though. This is the second time I’ve been using the mask (the first time resulting in me being confused as heck over the instructions and whether or not I actually did it right) and I do say, after each mask, your blackheads keep disappearing more and more!
