While my gums itch whenever I eat apples, apple juice is probably one of my favorite drinks in the world. The It’s Skin Apple Peeling Tissue caught my attention, and I thought maybe it’d smell like apples. Also, I’ve been noticing some dry skin cells flaking off from certain parts of my face. Eew. Time for exfoliating!

Description and directions: Skin safety tested, the front says. On the back of the little packet is a description in Korean and English. There are 15 apple tissue sheets total inside.

Apple peeling tissue is an easy and mild for daily exfoliating.
Natural extracts of apple make your skin fresh, smooth, glow-
ing and vibrant every day. — DIRECTIONS : Put out a tissue and
wipe gently along the skin texture avoiding the area around the
eyes and lips. Lightly tap remaining contents on the face for the
absorption.

Then there is a list of ingredients. There’s an expiriation date printed on the back as well. At least, I think that’s what it is. Maybe it’s a batch number. Either way, if the sheets inside are all dried out, don’t use them! Make sure they’re a little damp but not completely soaked.

Packaging: Small and thin enough to even fit in a regular-sized pocket. It’s light and very portable, green for the apple theme, and has a pull back tab on the top, much like makeup wipes.

Color: The sheets are adorable! I expected regular sheets, but these are apple shaped and colored. See the picture below.

Texture: More durable than I thought they’d be– some sort of material between paper and cloth, I’d say.

Scent: A semi-sweet scent that vaguely ressembles apples, along with a typical facial cleaning scent of some sort. Nothing too irritating, but just don’t continuously sniff the sheet.

Lifespan: Well, the sheet sure does its job with my face. After I take a shower at night, I use one and remove dead skin cells that make my face look dry. Success! There was no added redness, given that I didn’t rub harshly.

Concluding thoughts: A great choice if you aren’t looking for intense exfoliating but want to reduce dry skin effects; and I found that my skin has looked a lot healthier and brighter as a result of using the tissues for a few days now.

Purchasing options: It’s Skin stores, Asian boutiques, online.

Score: 4.5/5
