Having a good experience with their toner of the same line, I was definitely interested to see how the Hyaluronic Acid Cream from It’s Skin would do. With pretty high expectations, let’s get to it.
Description:
Enriched treatment cream that makes your skin clean and lively by raising your moisture level
Appealing, though pretty general with any moisturizer-like item.
Scent: The typical-esque clean perfume scent of Asian cosmetics, slightly floral-like but really fresh. I really like it and find it soothing almost.
Texture: Even though it’s titled as a “cream,” it’s very much more-so of a gel-like texture. Though like a cream, you can definitely feel how hydrating it is.
Design: The dreaded jar, but I’m not so particular for this one since you’ll be applying the Hyaluronic Acid Cream post-cleanse, so your fingers should be clean to minimally contaminate.
Application: For the most part, it’s straightforward. The box helps out and says that you should just grab an adequate amount and apply it in circular motions, gently, onto your face. Easy enough.
Right away, you can totally feel how light it is, being of gel-cream texture. And with a quick rub, it settles into the skin pretty quick as well. There’s only a slight stickiness that lingers when it sits initially, but it settles and absorbs in after a few moments to acceptably moisturized skin. It’s not insane moisture, but for its texture, it matches and does well for a skin pick-me-up.
Overall: If you need just light hydration for your skin, this Hyaluronic Acid Cream will do the trick. While I don’t see it being super ideal for colder months, when my skin gets a bit drier, it could easily become a staple when spring/summer arrives.
If interested, it’s available at It’s Skin retailers, eBay, or a quick internet search will lead you to other Asian beauty store sources.
Score: 4.5/5

It does look like something to keep with you during Spring/Summer for tip top moisture
