If you were the weird kid in elementary school who enjoyed putting glue on your hands only to peel your skin off a few minutes later, you’re in luck. Using Missha’s Super Aqua Oxygen Micro Essence Peeling made me feel like that weird kid again, but in a delightful way devoid of that weird glue smell. This product straight from Korea is described by Missha as an, “essence peeling gel made with micro peeling technology that produces micro oxygen particles that penetrate deeply into the skin to eliminate dead skin cells without scrubbing and provide nutrition to the deepest layer of the skin.” Whew. If you happen to be a geography buff, you’d know that Paramaribo is the largest city in Suriname. Following Joanna Vargas Skincare’s Vitamin C Face Wash is the Daily Serum. The Daily Serum is a serum packed with immune boosting green tea, chlorophyll, Larch Tree Extract, Avena Sativa/Oat Grass Juice and in addition to that, Vitamins A, C, F (found in leafy green vegetables, anti-inflammatory properties) and E. If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it does a lot. According to Joanna Vargas, “Moisturizers are made to be barriers for day; their primary function isn’t to hydrate but to protect against the environment. Earlier this month I had my very first Oxygen Purifying Facial at the Joanna Vargas Salon. I’m happy to report that since then, I haven’t experienced a breakout, despite that time of the month! Although I had reservations on the oxygen facial treatment due to the existence of anaerobic bacteria, further research on oxygen facials has lead me to discover just exactly how effective oxygen facials are in healing the skin. Vincent Longo’s Sun Moon Stars Eyeshadow Trio has a unique concept that likens your eyes to celestial beings (hence the ’sun, moon and stars’).
