MAC Powder Blush in Supercontinental is just one of three new limited edition Powder Blushes recently released under the MAC Styleseeker Collection. Although I’ve borrowed and used plenty of MAC Powder Blushes from my mom in the past, this is actually the first time I’ve ever reviewed one. More »

After putting wine on my face, I figured, why not sheep’s milk? Holika Holika, the great people behind the Wine Therapy Sleeping Mask also have a sheep’s milk alternative called the Premium Sheep Milk Yogurt Wash Off Pack. You might be wondering what a ‘pack’ is. A ‘pack’ in Korea means a non-sheet mask. Why? I don’t know. Perhaps the logic is that you’re packing the mask on your face. Anyway, I digress. Onto the review! More »

When it comes to Korean beauty products, there’s just no shortage of pore concealers. If you’ve got microscopic pores, I advise sitting out my review of Holika Holika’s Pore Magic Cover Sealer. Pore concealers are specifically for anyone concerned about the size and appearance of their pores. More »

What do you get when you put a BB cream and paint roller together? Holika Holika’s Face 2 Change Liquid Roller BB Cream. Since I wasn’t quite sure if I loved the idea of rolling something onto my face, I decided to give it a try. More »

When I discovered that Etude House had a makeup remover product available in 250ml (huge amount for makeup remover), I was all over it. This product is known as the Etude House Lip and Eye Makeup Remover. True this means that I’d need a separate makeup remover for face makeup, but I’ve already got a nice stockpile of facial wipes going on that fit this purpose already. I was game for a lip and eye makeup remover! More »

Despite its name, Boscia’s Little Black Book Gift Set isn’t exactly a little black book but a small black box gift set featuring the best of Boscia’s Black Collection in deluxe/travel size form. Specifically the Detoxifying Black Cleanser, No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment, Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel and the popular Luminizing Black Mask. I was lucky enough to receive it for review the other day. More »

The holidays may seem a bit far but Boscia’s already prepping with the release of Holiday 2012 collection — a first for Boscia. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Oseibo (end of year gift), Boscia has released gift sets available in limited edition packaging that cover a variety of skincare concerns. The holiday collection features the new Pink Sparkling Blotting Linens, Fashionably Matte gift set, One Step Wonders gift set, and the Little Black Book gift set. More »

New school year, new beauty game plan. This year, back to school beauty is all about looking effortless in a flash without breaking the bank. Here are my beauty picks for all you students out there: More »

Holika Holika’s Small Face CD Pact is purportedly the answer to people born with large faces…in Korea. Sadly, one standard of Korean beauty states that if one’s face is bigger than a CD, you’re ugly as sin. Beautiful people with beautiful faces can hide all of their facial features behind a CD. What’s a face bigger than a CD to do? Contour, contour, contour and highlight. More »

Trying out Tony Moly’s Premium Eyelashes in XL was probably the third time in my 27 years of existence that I’d ever worn false eyelashes. The first time I had them put on by a makeup artist (for prom). The second? Last year, for a review of ELF’s false eyelashes. This time around, I suppose I was feeling confident after watching just about every single Youtube tutorial on how to apply false eyelashes for the second, third or fourth time in a row. They make it look so easy! More »

When I first saw MAC’s Mineralize Blush in Stratus, I was a bit afraid though I had no reason to be after previously trying out two other blushes in the Heavenly Creatures collection. I was mostly afraid of it being too dark on my cheeks — in its packaging, the blush appears to be violet swirled with a peach melange. After actually trying it out, I quickly discovered that it’s a wear-able blush! More »

Holika Holika Wine Therapy Sleeping Mask is a skincare product in which you can safely say that you had wine on your face one night without actually being under the influence of alcohol. Or the stickiness. I mean, not that I know what having wine on your face is like…ahem. Anyway, you know how they say that enough glasses of wine can put you to sleep? Well, a lesser amount can be worn on your face, while you sleep. Why? For anti-aging and whitening purposes. More »

Another Korean beauty product, another unusual name. This time it’s the Mizon Trouble Clinic Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot. I loved the snail cream so much I decided to give another Mizon product a try. Don’t worry if you’re confused as to what this product is after reading the title — I was too. After tapping into my 3rd grade level Korean skills, I discovered that the Trouble Clinic Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot is a spot healing/zit zapping product, unique in the product is an interesting combination of liquid and powder. Etude House’s OMG Dry Shampoo has to be by far the funniest title for a dry shampoo. I love dry shampoo just as much as the next oily scalped, lazy person…but not so much to evoke an, ‘OMG’ response. Of course, ‘OMG’ in the title was reason enough for me to try out Etude House’s dry shampoo. More »

Never would I imagine the words ‘wonder’ and ‘pore’ together in the same sentence, let alone a name for a beauty product. Say hello to Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshner, a toner with some lofty promises that are all targeted at your pores. As someone with pore issues, I smiled and thought, “Oh, how wonder pore! A toner that claims to be everything I want it to be.” More »
