White eyeliners are making a return for spring/summer 2010. This colorless pencil made its appearance at the Anna Sui Spring 2010 Show. You probably have a routine for your makeup in the morning. Mine goes: concealer, tinted moisturizer, blush, eyelid primer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara. And repeat. Given the often short amount of time that I have to get myself ready in the morning and my comfort level with the products that I already use, I pretty much give myself the same face every day. As I mentioned in my post about cleaning out your beauty products yesterday, I have about 15 different types of the same colors of eyeshadow and lip color because I know they look good on me. Nothing is as timeless as black eyeliner. Ever since it was first used in Ancient Egypt, it hasn’t gone out of style. Unfortunately, Cleopatra didn’t have as many black eyeliner options available to her as we do now. Black eyeliner, or eyeliner in general as you all know comes in liquid, gel or pencil form. Personally, I’m a big gel fan. I swear my life on MAC’s Blacktrack Fluidline (gel) paired off with an angled brush.
