It’s a bit strange to me when people go through extreme lengths for longer and more unique-looking lashes. If I wanted to obstruct my vision, I’d just grow out my fringe. I don’t think wearing ridiculously false lashes will make you any more attractive than you already are…but it does make statement, if that’s what you’re going for. More »

According to Mami Magazine, “Designer Anthony Mallier from India has created ‘Sparkle’ contact lenses to make your eyes “Sparkle like they’ve never sparkled before.” What you see here, are Swarovski crystals embedded around the edges of a pair of contact lenses. Here’s a tool that I’ve never seen before: shields that you put under your eyes so that your eye makeup doesn’t smudge while you are applying it, and then you throw them out. The Sephora Shadow Shields are essentially cotton pads with adhesive on the back so that they stay in place. But are these really necessary? More »

Nothing is as timeless as black eyeliner. Ever since it was first used in Ancient Egypt, it hasn’t gone out of style. Unfortunately, Cleopatra didn’t have as many black eyeliner options available to her as we do now. Black eyeliner, or eyeliner in general as you all know comes in liquid, gel or pencil form. Personally, I’m a big gel fan. I swear my life on MAC’s Blacktrack Fluidline (gel) paired off with an angled brush. I’ve had this life-long problem of being klutzy, and thus, my hands are too shaky for liquid liner. My question to you is, which form of black eyeliner do you prefer and why? More »
