According to BellaSugar, Lady Gaga is rumored to have inked a deal with Coty for a Lady Gaga perfume. Coty is responsible for producing a variety of celeb perfumes, such as Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halley Berry’s. If the rumor is true, then Lady Gaga can be added to that list. Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger to perfumes — she already has more than a handful of fragrances on the market, and now she is releasing another one that is inspired by the character that she made infamous, Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. Each year, Marc Jacobs releases a new set of limited edition body splash fragrances. I’m a regular user of Marc’s signature perfume, but sometimes during the summer months it’s nicer to just use a lighter scent (I’m no scientist, but I seem to remember from a science class that the warmer the weather is, the faster molecules move, making perfumes seem stronger). I’m not exactly sure how long Demeter Fragrances has been around, but it has definitely been a while. I remember being in junior high and sampling every Demeter spray in the collection pretty much every time that I went to the mall (yep, I even loved beauty back then!). They’ve always had some pretty off-the-wall scents, but most of them are shockingly accurate. I remember one of my favorites was Tomato, because it absolutely smelled like the tomato plants my mom grew in her garden.

I also recall loving the Sex on the Beach scent, although at the time I thought it was just a funny name and not a drink. Demeter has a whole line of cocktail-inspired scents that are definitely worth checking out! More »
