According to BellaSugar, Lady Gaga is rumored to have inked a deal with Coty for a Lady Gaga perfume. Coty is responsible for producing a variety of celeb perfumes, such as Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halley Berry’s. If the rumor is true, then Lady Gaga can be added to that list. What’s really getting me is the idea that Lady Gaga seems to be the last celeb to bank on the celeb perfume trend. More »

From Girlybubble: Demeter Fragrance has teamed up with Sanrio to produce a line of Sanrio perfumes. Yes, you too can smell like Hello Kitty. As big of a fan I am of Hello Kitty, wondering how Hello Kitty smells has never crossed my mind. I’ve yet to take a whiff of these perfumes, but I must say — the bottles are so darn cute: More »

Finally, someone to tell me what my signature fragrance is, minus the fragrance counter. WWD reports that Aramis, an Estee Lauder brand has create an innovative iPhone application, called Ascent that helps you pick out the perfect fragrance to fit your personality. More »

As it seems to be the ever-growing trend in celebrity-land, it is no surprise that our favorite girl gone bad, Rihanna, will be releasing a fragrance in the near future. She was planning on naming it Route 22, but I guess she decided that she didn’t like that name after all. Now, she’s asking fans to come up with names! More »

Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger to perfumes — she already has more than a handful of fragrances on the market, and now she is releasing another one that is inspired by the character that she made infamous, Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. It’s called SJP NYC. SJP hosted a brunch with ELLE Creative Director, Joe Zee (a personal favorite of mine!) this weekend in order to promote the fragrance. More »

Did you know that renown surrealist artist Salvador Dalí used to create perfumes during the 1940s and 1950s while he was involved in the fashion and advertising industries? They were released in limited quantities. However, his fragrance legacy still lives on through the company Les Parfums Salvador Dalí, created in 1983. More »

Each year, Marc Jacobs releases a new set of limited edition body splash fragrances. I’m a regular user of Marc’s signature perfume, but sometimes during the summer months it’s nicer to just use a lighter scent (I’m no scientist, but I seem to remember from a science class that the warmer the weather is, the faster molecules move, making perfumes seem stronger). The new collection of scents are inspired by things in a patisserie shop (Look at the macarons in the ad! So cute!!), so you can be sure they’ll be yummy! More »

It‘s time to check out Kim Kardashian’s new fragrance line. Kim continues to dazzle us with her dedication as a successful entrepreneur and pop-culture icon. She has her own top rated television show and her own successful online fashion business. Not to mention constant media attention, sometimes provoked by her voluptuous figure. More »

I’m not exactly sure how long Demeter Fragrances has been around, but it has definitely been a while. I remember being in junior high and sampling every Demeter spray in the collection pretty much every time that I went to the mall (yep, I even loved beauty back then!). They’ve always had some pretty off-the-wall scents, but most of them are shockingly accurate. I remember one of my favorites was Tomato, because it absolutely smelled like the tomato plants my mom grew in her garden.
I also recall loving the Sex on the Beach scent, although at the time I thought it was just a funny name and not a drink. Demeter has a whole line of cocktail-inspired scents that are definitely worth checking out! More »

Even if you can’t purchase that Stella McCartney dress you saw on the runway, there is still a way to snag a piece of your favorite designer’s collection (an affordable piece at least). With all that Christmas shopping for other people, why not treat yourself to Stella McCartney’s new fragrance, STELLANUDE? More »

The nose is a powerful tool. It can pinpoint up to 10,000 unique smells and as the centerpiece of the face, it has a powerful impact on attracting and sniffing out the right mate(s). Pleasant aromas can amp up the lust we feel when we’re in love. Call it pheromones or hormones, but the nose knows! More »
