When news of the MAC Lady Gaga Viva Glam VII lipstick broke out, I was all over it. In my interview with Lipstick Queen creator, Poppy King, we chatted about her Black Tie Optional lip products, which are sheer black products that you layer underneath your normal lip color. Poppy told me that these products work like sheer black stockings that you wear on your legs: they give them shape and definition. As you are probably well-aware, MAC scored big with this year’s Viva Glam collaboration by enlisting Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper as spokeswomen. They’ve already done the morning show circuit to promote the lipsticks which will be available March 15th. Every penny of the money you pay for a lipstick goes to the MAC AIDS Fund!
