False lashes are fun to wear! The only problem is, if not applied correctly, it can be a total beauty nightmare.

It’s not easy to apply false lashes on yourself, so lots of practice makes perfect. The number one application point to remember is to never close your eyes when applying the lashes on. The glue will adhere to your eyelid and glue them shut. More »

You may have seen Penelope Cruz in the ads for L’Oreal’s newest mascara. I confess, I have a total girl-crush on her and I’d love to be as much of a bombshell as she is (with my blonde hair and see-though pale skin, I’ve accepted that this is probably not happening for me). Maybe it has something to do with the recession or our newfound love for natural beauty. Whatever the case, we were all still wearing makeup in 2009, but we went for makeup that gave us a more natural look. You know, wearing makeup without looking like we were wearing makeup. When Maybelline first started advertising their Pulse Perfection mascara, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical. Basically, it is a regular black mascara that comes with a vibrating brush which is supposed to coat your lashes better (you know how makeup artists do that fancy brush-wiggle trick?).
