A few weeks ago, my sensitive skin got just a bit too winded and dry, and then a minor case of eczema happened. Red, blotchy skin started popping up on my legs, and I knew it was time for some super-moisturizing. The question was, what would I use that would effectively help my skin get better? My thoughts turned to the Mizon Ultra Repair Wonder Cream. After all, it should work wonders, right? More »

London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down…well hopefully not in real life, but the spirit of England seems to be all around in the London Holic Jelly Pop Tint from Mizon. And while there’s a lot that could be captured when you mention London, it seems like we’re going the lighthearted route with the shade Pure Pink sitting and ready to be tested in the spotlight this time. For a while now, I’ve been seeing British flag patterns and other European icons on many fashion items. Especially for Asian products. Even cosmetics, as Mizon’s London Holic Jelly Pop Tint in Juicy Orange hosts the Big Ben on on its tube. Hmm, well it sure does look appealing in an artsy way, not to mention the sparkles! More »

Last month, the Mizon Placenta Ampoule Essential Sheet Mask left me with a pretty good impression of placenta as a beauty solution for dry skin. Before trying the product, I had my opinions on using placenta for anything (including sodas, apparently), but I was actually strangely excited for the Mizon Placenta Ampoule Cream. Perhaps it would work much like the mask? More »

Sheet masks are a must for me these days, when the wind is blowing and the weather is bi-polar. There are so many different kinds out there though, I never know which ones are the most beneficial for specifically my skin. The name of the Mizon Placenta Ampoule Essential Sheet Mask kind of grossed me out a little at first, to be honest. I mean, placenta. On my face. Ick. Then I remembered having snail cream on my face before and as long as I don’t think about it, it’ll all be okay. It’s good for my skin, right? More »

In this dying cold weather (thank goodness), we could all use a little bit of moisture. And if you’re at any level of a skin product junkie, wrinkle prevention definitely makes it more likely that you try out one particular product over another. Unboxing the Deep Sea Marine Collagen Ampoule from Mizon, the clean and calming design attracted me right away, though it was the promise of hydrating collagen from the deep seas that locked it in as my next tester. According to myself, I am slowy getting old. Just turned 21 recently and am not getting any younger, yikes. Can’t say my looks have caught up with my age though, and I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. Depending on the situation, perhaps. With that said, I don’t have unwanted visible wrinkles… yet. Still, it doesn’t hurt to keep caring for my skin, and the Mizon S-Venom Wrinkle Tox Cream might be able to help prolong my youthfulness. More »

Tree sap is sticky, from what I’ve experienced by climbing trees. Smearing that stuff all over my face sure doesn’t sound too appealing to me, but Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Suboon Cream has all kinds of tree sap in its formula. Whoo, and wait, is it just me or does hyaluronic sound very familiar… More »

As someone with oily skin, I’d never imagine that I’d one day be such an advocate for oil beyond its usage in cooking or cars. What turned into some casual cleansing oil use (on days where I’ve got makeup on) developed into hardcore argan oil in my hair use. Now? Dry Oil on my body in the form of Mizon’s Multi 24 Enrich Dry Oil. It seems oil is just a gateway drug for more oil. More »

Twilight. What is the first thing you think of when that word is mentioned? Not to mention, “Twilight return.” Though the series (both books and movie) is over, I suppose some would want the forever-young, flawless skin that vampires so-called possess. As long as it doesn’t include sparkles, I’m okay with that. You can probably guess what the Mizon Twilight Return Cream is supposed to do. And no, it doesn’t involve any blood or super strength powers. More »

Winter dullness has gotten my skin down. It happens to the best of us, especially when you’re not vigilant about exfoliation. Aside from the need to exfoliate more often, Mizon’s Special Therapy Honey Black Sugar Scrub caught my attention because it is again, another confusing Korean beauty product title. Is the scrub honey and black sugar or is the sugar honey black? What is black sugar anyway? I had to find out. More »

A few years ago I accomplished something of an amazing feat — hiking to the peak of Korea’s Halla San (Halla Mountain) in Jeju Island. Little did I know then that the terrain and dirt I was hiking was actually good for your face. If I could go back in time, I probably would’ve rolled down the mountain to get myself dirty after reaching the peak. Since I don’t have a time machine, I’ve settled for Mizon’s Pore Clearing Volcanic Mask. It’s not a mask that’ll errupt. It’s just sounds that way because it’s a Korean beauty product. Anyway, this particular mask is formulated with the volcanic ashes of Jeju Island. More »

For some unexplainable reason, Korean cosmetics brand Mizon loves London. So much so that they’ve recently released a trio of lip tints titled, London Holic Jelly Pop Tint. If London’s calling (a super awesome song by The Clash, btw), one can’t help it but answer. And so, I tried Mizon’s London Holic Jelly Pop Tint in Lady Cherry. More »

Eye cream, you scream, we all scream for an eye cream that works. The latest in my pursuit for the perfect eye cream also has the most ridiculously long name, Mizon’s Intensive Firming Solution Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream. We’ll just call it the Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream. CPFEC, for short. More »

With all the late nights coming up for the school season, dark circles are definitely going to be hard to avoid. Or…if you haven’t been able to sleep enough these past couple months due to summer adventures and/or work. Whatever the situation, undereye circles are something that no one wants to sport…especially when they don’t have to. With Mizon’s promising-looking Dark Bright Care for Eyes Roller, I was excited to see if it could help lessen the ones that I had previously built up. More »
