I didn’t know there were such things as a beauty tutorial on ‘How to wear your perfume.’ I just spray them on my neck and off I go. You get the point right? Until today, famous sensational make up guru, Michelle Phan uploaded a video on Youtube showing us the do’s and don’t of perfume. Might sound awkward but it really taught me a lot! I absolutely love makeup palettes. I tend not to buy eye shadows in individual containers because it’s usually more expensive to buy them that way, so unless it’s a color that I really want, I don’t buy it. Whenever I get a new makeup palette, I get so excited — it’s like getting a brand new cosmetics case all at once! So it turns out that chocolate does the body good inside and out (did you read this piece in the New York Times yesterday about chocolate and yoga?)! Having a piece of chocolate usually makes my day a little brighter, but did you know that it also has anti-inflammatory properties? Neither did I! One of my favorite movies of all time is Belle de Jour, starring Catherine Deneuve. If you haven’t seen it, you should! Catherine was such a beauty back in the day, and I absolutely loved the chic and effortless hairstyle that she sports after a long day at the, um, brothel — the French twist. However, as a girl with relatively fine hair, I have a heck of a time getting it to stay pinned in place once I twist it up, proving the “effortless” part of the look quite untrue. One such look is Gloria aka Glowpinkstah’s “Chola Make-up Tutorial.” Sandra Bullock is a total fan, judging by the way she recently volunteered herself to be made over by Gloria on the George Lopez Show. 1 million+ hits can’t be wrong either.
